Book Review: Just Passin’ Thru by Winton Porter

This book was a quick and easy read. If you have any interest in the Appalachian Trail or just in a good book, I would check this one out. It is basically an autobiography about the life and times of Winton Porter as he runs his store through which the Appalachian Trail literally passes. I laughed out loud at many of the stories and almost cried with a few. If you’re looking for a good book for a day at the pool or a night read in the tent, I would suggest this book. It is available at Amazon and many fine retailers.

Note: I have no financial interests in this book and have not been paid to review or endorse it.
